The tour was just simply outstanding and amazing! Hoang and My driver Me and the other driver Quan(I think) were just wonderful, helpful, courteous, and a delight to spend half a day with. This tour was one of the best things we did during our two week stay in Vietnam. I would recommend anyone staying in the Hue area take this tour. Thanks and all the best – J. Robert Turnbull, Jr. USA
ps -it was all amazing – no single memorable experience – all a wonder memory!
The ride around the city brought me an in-depth understanding how local people behave on the street as well as how local shops do their business. I feel it is much more enjoyable for tourists to get around this way. Especially the ‘1970s vespa perfectly matched with the local environment of this city – which is unique and totally different from any other cities in Vietnam. The lunch with the host family was full of cultural local life stories and traditions, including how to behave in a family meal, … The guide was very knowledgeable and professional! I am extremely impressed by this tour which I though I could hardly have in anywhere else in Vietnam.
I went on the Rural Life Discovery with one other friend and we had a great time. I’ve been to Vietnam a couple of times and know the country pretty well, but it was my friend’s first time to Vietnam. For him, it was like seeing a whole new Vietnam that was different from the normal tourist attractions. The tour was an amazing opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hue city. We were able to see a part of Vietnam that many wouldn’t be able to see without our trusted tour guides. Our tour guides took us to a village market, village communities, inside a home to make a special cake, and then to an old bridge. As we sat on the back of Vespas we cruised through the countryside taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful scenery. It was awesome. Overall, I would recommend doing this tour if you are looking to get away from the city and to experience a calmer and truer Vietnamese life.
